I was elected as Warwick and Leamington's new MP at the 2010 General Election, having previously stood at the General Election in 2005. Before my election I worked locally in Public Relations, having previously worked at Longbridge with MG Rover. I live in Warwick, and play an active role in our local community, serving as a governor of Myton School and as a a trustee of the Warwickshire Association of Youth Clubs. I'm also involved in a number of other local organisations and charities.
Our area has a lot to be proud of and I will be working hard to help improve everyone's quality of life through campaigning for better public services, an NHS run for patients not politicians and a cleaner, greener environment. I want a fairer deal for our older people, better opportunities for our children and safer streets for us all. Warwick and Leamington is a wonderful place to live - but it could be even better.
